Lash extensions retention varies depending on factors such as aftercare, allergies, watery eyes, and enviornmental factors. If you are cleansing your lashes daily, not applying mascara to them, and don’t sleep directly on your face, then most clients get fills every 2 weeks. 

All lash styles will create volume but each style mimics a different style of volume. Classic lashes are performed by lashing one extension to each individual natural lash. It is the least amount of volume and the most natural appearance. Volume lashes are created using 3-5 false lashes fanned together and glued to an individual natural lash. This creates a more dramatic, fluffy, volumized appearance. Hybrid is combination of half of your lashes containing volume fans, and the other half having just one false lash to one natural lash. It is medium volume. 

If you go to an experienced certified lash artist who takes their time, properly isolates lashes, and doesn’t use an overwhelming amount of glue, then no your natural lashes will not be damaged. Unfortunately, the state of Missouri does not regulate lash artists and anyone off the streets can decide to start offering this service. At Empire Aesthetics Med Spa, our service providers are licensed certified lash artists with years of experience. They will maintain the integrity of your natural lashes and will not damage them. Please ensure you are following their aftercare instructions. 

A full set of lash extensions is $125-$150 depending on which style is performed. Fills vary in pricing depending on how long it takes to perform your fill. Obviously the better retention, the less time is needed to fill them. Clients will come every 1-3 weeks for lash fills. A 30 minute fill is $45. A 45 minute fill is $60. An hour fill is $70. Most clients come every two weeks and receive a 30-45 minute fill. 

Please arrive to your appointment on time and preferably without any makeup or mascara on. If you are coming from work and have makeup on, we will remove it. We will perform a free cleanse prior to lashing you. You may also add on a keratin boosting lash growth treatment or an AlumierMD undereye instant eye brightening mask to your service. 

For aftercare, your service provider will discuss this in person. But to keep it simple…please do not get your lashes wet for 24 hours after being lashed. Cleanse your lashes daily with a lash brush and lash cleansing shampoo. Do not allow your regular face wash, or any of your skincare regime to get on your lashes. These products contain oils and other ingridents that can make your lashes fall off. We sell a lash cleansing shampoo at Empire for a very affordable price if one is needed. Please do not apply mascara to your lashes. Please do not pick at your lashes or remove them yourself. If you need a removal, please book a professional removal through us to avoid damaging and pulling out your natural lashes. Please use your extension wand provided at your appointment to brush through your lashes daily. Avoid sleeping directly on your face as this can make your lashes fall out faster. We sell lash masks to avoid damage to the lashes if you are a side or face sleeper. 

A Lash Lift and Tint is performed by our licensed estheticians and using perming agents to curl the lashes upwards and a lash tent to color the lashes black. A lash lift and tint is perfect for clients who naturally have long healthy lashes, but their lashes are very straight and are lighter in color. It is going to give you a more natural appearance and mimic lashes that have mascara and curl them without having to use a damaging curling wand every morning. Lash lift and tint lasts 4-8 weeks. If you have very short lashes, you are not a good candidate for a lash lift and tint and will not experience good results. Lash lift and tint is low maintenance. Lash extensions are ideal for clients wanting a fuller more dramatic look. Fills are needed every 1-3 weeks. They add length and volume to your natural lashes. False mink lashes are glued to your natural lashes.
