We have five VI peels to choose from and will determine which peel is best for your skincare concerns upon physical assessment. You will experience peeling after treatment. You must avoid sun exposure for 7-10 days post treatment. BBL Laser is a photo rejuvenation skin treatment that uses lasers, intense pulsed light, to treat reds and browns in the skin and remove the effects of photoaging such as wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, age spots, sun spots, diffused redness, broken capillaries, rosacea, and uneven complexion. Because lasers see pigment, you must be a Fitzpatrick scale I-III to receive BBL treatment. Unfortunately, BBL is not safe for clients with a darker complexion as it risks rebound hyperpigmentation. You must avoid sun tanning, spray tanning, & self tanners at least two weeks prior to treatment and discontinue use of Retinols, Retinoids (AlphaRet Skinbetter products), and tretinoin 1 week prior. You must remain out of the sun for 5-7 days post treatment. BBL helps to stimulate collagen, evens skin tones, and reduces any reds or browns in the skin. It leaves your skin looking brighter and glowing! We recommend a series of 3-4 treatments for best results. Treatments are performed once every 4-5 weeks. After, it is annual maintenance of 1-2 times a year or as needed. Clients who are on photosensitive medications such as doxycycline, tetracycline, ciprofloxin, or accutane may not receive BBL treatment. Clients with any history of seizures cannot be treated with BBL. After treatment, any brown spots (hyperpigmentation, sun spots) on the face will make its way to the surface and appear a coffee like brown. Any redness to the skin may get slightly more red for 24-48 hours before lessening.
