- Avoid heat for 24–48 hours, including hot showers, baths, saunas, steam rooms, and intense workouts.
- Do not sunbathe, use tanning beds, or apply self-tanner or spray tan solution to the area for at least 48 hours.
- Keep the area clean and wear loose-fitting clothing to reduce friction and irritation.
- Avoid touching the area unnecessarily and keep hands clean to prevent breakouts or infection.
- Do not exfoliate for 48 hours. After that, gently exfoliate 2–3 times per week to help prevent ingrown hairs. We love the face reality mandelic scrub, skinbetter alpahret peel pads and face reality acne med for ingrown hair management.
- Avoid retinoids, exfoliating acids, and fragranced products on the area for 3–5 days.
- Apply a soothing, fragrance-free product as recommended by your provider to calm and hydrate the skin. Hydrinity encore body lotion is a great option.
Mild redness or sensitivity is normal and should subside within a day or two. If irritation persists or you have concerns, please contact the clinic for guidance.
